The Digital Resilience Association of the Kyrgyz Republic, in collaboration with TSARKA, conducted a security assessment of government web resources. The evaluation covered 75 websites and 8 categories of vulnerabilities — ranging from open ports to outdated technologies and misconfigured security settings.
The findings are cause for concern:
- The average security score was only 56%
- Only 3 websites scored above 70%
- 8 websites are operating without SSL certificates
- Critical vulnerabilities were identified on 29 websites
- 42 websites are using outdated technologies
- All 75 domains have DNS configuration issues
These results highlight the urgent need to strengthen digital security and improve the resilience of government online platforms.
